Who We Are
The Bar-King Dog Kennel has been serving Big Island pets for over 30 years. We hold valid county and state permits and are long-standing members of the Pet Care Services Association). In 1997 we also became the first Satellite Quarantine Station in the state of Hawaii. As pet lovers, every effort has been made to place the welfare of all the pets that come to our facility above all other considerations.

We continuously strive to stay in touch with the changing needs and expectations of the pet-owning public to make sure that our dog and cat grooming facility will continue to lead the way in pet care in our community. The health, safety, and well-being of your pets are our highest priority.

Our Staff
Each member of our staff has been selected because they share a genuine love and affection for all animals. Some of our staff members have had prior experience working in veterinary clinics or dog grooming shops, but all of them share the same binding commitment to the welfare of all of the pets in their care. We provide ongoing educational opportunities and awareness training and encourage active participation to improve our services.
